Statistical Tools Methods: The main statistical tools that will be used to perform my analysis are the Microsoft Excel data analysis Tool Pak and an online calculator for a t-test. I will run a regression analysis and an ANOVA test. Excel is the best tool to use because the data that has been given is quantitative not qualitative. The data that the teams are given in the case study appears to be units used/sold and manufactured and this is good data to import into Excel. The only variable that is present is the year, quarter, or month that the units were sold/produced in. In this case study the given data would fall in the category of a time series because the sales figures increased over the time (years). Also in reviewing the data there is seasonal variation in the sales figures from 2006 to 2008. This category of data can be analyzed using time series methodologies. The next year’s data or projected data is dependent on the previous year’s data, so time series analysis is appropriate. When looking at the problem that A-CAT is facing we see either overstocking or under stocking transformers. Over stocking causes capital to be tied up in the inventory. Under stocking causes A-CAT to be unable to deliver order quickly. In the article, â€Å"On Being an Atheist†, H.J. McCloskey discusses the reasons of why he believes being an atheist is a more acceptable than Christianity. McCloskey believes that atheism is a more rational belief versus having a God who allows people to suffer so he can have the glory. He believes to live in this world, you must be comfortable. The scene in which the women go against the men with their pales of water can be seen as a mass demonstration and protest to get their point across. The modern political term would be lobbying, and that is what the women are doing. They are lobbying for peace by way of violence and sex strike. I bring up lobbying because it is a way of expressing views no matter how radical they may be. Lobbyists also purposely create violent demonstrations to get their positions recognized. This happens in the play Lysistrata. The women trade shots back and forth with the men creating a violent atmosphere. They taunt and even get into the occasional tussle so their views can be expressed. When the policemen try to attack the women they beat them off and Lysistrata tells the Magistrate Didn t you know that women are filled with passion? Passion, without it there would not have been a feminist movement. The same passion that drives these women drives feminist today. As I wrote before, women had no rights. Lysistrata always knew what was going on politically, her husband just wouldn t let her speak her mind. She wanted to do what was best for the woman. She talks about how women should be allowed to enjoy their youth, the burdens they must bear as a result of war both mentally and physically. That is partially what feminism is about, not only seeking change, but also doing what is in the best interest for women. Lysistrata states in one scene of the play I am a woman, it is true, but I have a mind; I m not badly off in native wit, and by listening to my father and my elders, I ve had a decent schooling. In other words, Lysistrata is saying, yes I am a woman, but I am educated and can make wise, if not even wiser decisions then any man. Women had absolutely no rights and respect when it came to politics. If they wanted to express their views they were either told to shut up or threatened to do so. Lysistrata is trying to show what all feminists believe, which is that women are just as capable of doing what men can. Lysistrata did exactly what the definition of feminism states. She addressed the fact that the women of her time were treated differently by society, and that the women were not able to participate in the political arena. Lysistrata had a desire to change all of that. Her desire was to be heard and to put an end to the war and the suffering of her fellow women. That in fact happened and peace was and happiness was achieved throughout Greece.

John Michael Bosco One of the more recognizable saints in the Bible, Christianitys holiest teachings, is John the Beloved Apostle of Christ. He was the chosen one of the twelve who would recieve Mary as his Mother, and the only apostle to die a non-tragc death. Marys beloved apostle in the 1800s was St. John Bosco, or Don Bosco as he is familiarly called. Throughout his life, John was the Blessed Mothers instrument, he brought thousands upon thousands to his Mothers service, repaying them with the loving knowledge of Christ and his Church. After dying his aura lives on in the hundreds of Salesian Institutions throughout the world. Born John Michael Bosco on August 16, 18151, he came into a poor family. From birth he was endeared to the Virgin Mary by his mother, whom we call Mama Margaret. Mama Margaret, Ochienna was originally her name before marriage to Francesco Bosco, was a pious woman who also knew how to lay down the law and keep he sons, three of them, in line. Johns life was not ideal, his father died at the early age of 34, on the seventeenth of May, 18172. He didnt have a father after that day. From then on it was a tough road, he had to work in the farms and also try to foster a good education. We have come away from home into a completely different country, a completely different culture, only because of the educational opportunities here and are paying twice, thrice the amount an American resident is paying in tuition but most of the nationals don't seem to have recognition or the realization of the facilities that they can avail. The word derives its origins from the concept of a synergy between design, economy and ecology. (Miriam Borchardt, Leonel A.C.Poltosi, Miguel A Sellito and Gianfraco M.Pereira, 2009) A design which is able to satisfy all three requirements in an effective manner is s aid to be a successful eco-designed product. With the world globalising at a fast rate there has been a rapid increase in the both the demand and consumption of goods. New players emerging and competing in the global market, has put a severe strain on the available natural resources and the idea of creating a environment friendly product has been relegated to the background. The three basic issues that an eco-design addresses are (1) Reduce the consumption of non-renewable resources (Fuller Buckminster, 2002) (2) Manage the existing renewable resources more effectively (3) Design products that are environment friendly and do not pollute the environment in any manner.
